Similar to yesterday, we want you to think of one important question about college that you would want answered by students, professors and/or administrators. Today's afternoon activity will be a lecture/panel discussion, where you will get the opportunity to ask these people questions regarding the school, student life, your major, and life in the LOOP. Please brainstorm and post only one important question.

ReplyDeleteOne important question that I have to ask professors, students, and administrators, is that will I be able to handle all of my classes. I had orientation yesterday and the auditions were hard but at the same time I had a very fun time. Dance the first semester is going to kick my ass, no lie. I'm scared but at the same time I'm ready to start. What do you guys think?
ReplyDeleteBecause its FURTHERING your education. Its not manditory, but think about it like, if you dont have college, enjoy pumping gas and flipping burgers.
ReplyDeleteJasmine: You will be fine you'll biggest friend is timing. Everything will work itself out so don't freak out your fine love.
ReplyDeleteThe one question I have for an administrator, professor or student, it would be, what happens if you don't have a new millenium or math class your first semester? Can I take it second semester, what would happen if they're both filled up even then?
ReplyDeleteWhat is the percent of students who get a job after graduating from Columbia?
ReplyDeleteWHAT ARE THREE MAJOR THINGS THAT ARE NECESSARY TO BE SUCCESSFUL @ COLUMBIA?
ReplyDeleteKingston: Thanks so much BMFFF!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat classes should I take first? I mean student loans are going to be a handful paying them back is another problem within itself. Should I minor in something will grantee a job after college or not?
ReplyDeleteI would want to know, are most students that attend Columbia successful afterwards?
ReplyDeleteQuestion: How does a student who is not okay financially able to keep up with their school work if they are working to pay for tuition?

ReplyDeleteI think that Simone's question about classes, and the best order to take general education classes, is a nice and specific question for administrators to answer. I just want you guys to have some thoughtful and meaningful (to you) questions so that you get something out of the questions/answer session later today. What do you still have questions about? How about dorm life? Or, expectations of teachers or other students in collaborative projects? Or the best place to eat in the area? Hummmmm....
ReplyDeletea question that i would like answered by anyone is is it a good idea to take all of my core classes first and not take any of my film classses for my freshmen year or should i take a little of both?
ReplyDeletegot to fatsweb.com
ReplyDeleteYou are a genius Kingston because that is so true..I remember when I told my teacher in high school that I should be nominated for class most successful..She told me lets be foreal... What?? Just because I didn't make the best grades...But I bet I will!
ReplyDeletePinky I hate fastweb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteKARLA, LEO, CORY, DANA, KINGSTON, will you all be in my project!???????????????
ReplyDeleteJasmine, do YOU wanna be in my project
ReplyDeleteDan: YAY!!!!!!!!!! YES ;)
ReplyDeleteHurts "Dan The Man"
ReplyDeleteI really don't know what life has in store for me .My heart leads me to my destiny. My question to any teacher is why when someone writes a paper there way you want to go and change it the way you want , and never think that would make the person that wrote the paper uncombable.
ReplyDeleteSimone, dooo YOU wanna be in my project!?
ReplyDeleteNo thank you dan... thanks for asking!!!! It is the thought that counts : )
ReplyDeleteHOW DARE YOU! I AM NOT A MAN WHO LEAVES WITHOUT GETTING WHAT HE WANTS!!! J/K
ReplyDeleteDan: It would be an honor
