Count Down; Last Week

Welcome to your last week of Bridge! We hope that your weekend was spectacular.

What have you learned in Bridge that has help you as a writer, student or creative? What are some questions that you still have about college, or college writing that you would like to have addressed in this last week?

    I feel like I am doing pretty well in Bridge now that it is the last week. I have improved on my writing and the way I speak when I write. Im glad that I did the program because it has prepared me for college and what I should look forward to. I need a little help on my paper I have gotten it down to the five pages but need a full five. So I need to know what to expand on.

    im happy i made it this far in the program i really dont have any questions i am glad that i took this class though because it has made me a better writer and now i feel more prepared for the actual college life

    I am so proud of my paper. I think it is my best work yet. I can't believe Bridge is over. It's kind of sad, but we will be friends forever!!!!! I'm so glad to have had this opportunity because really I can't think of any school in Chicago that would give a student the chance to earn their acceptance. They would just say "Sorry we can't take you" Columbia is cooler than all of them combined.

    I feel I’m getting better in my writing and reading since I came to Bridge. I’m improving my writing ability and take my time for the reader to have understanding. I’m more outspoken and getting to meet new people which have been a blast. I’m so happy that I got the opportunity to come to Bridge it helps me to get prepared for college in so many ways however I have more to learn

    Well, I think since it is the last week of Bridge, i think my work has gotten better. I have done better with writing, which I will need a lot for my journalism major. Also, I think I did ok on my final paper draft, but it was definetley not the best. I did not get all the way down to five pages, and I still don't have an ending, but overall it came out alright. I am stillg oing to try to do my best until the end of Bridge, because I don't want anything to go wrong,and ruin my chances of getting into Columbia.

    OK I hope meg and nancy don't hold this against me but I don't have 5 pages yet I could think of much and also it was like 2am when I was trying to finish it. But I will have it finished and my presentation to!

    My essays are becomming better. The thought spectrum i can choose from is expanding.

    I think that i have become more idealistic.

    Bridge has been an important part of my acceptence process for columbia. I look at it as an oppritunity, not a task or a job that has to be completed.

    Im thankful and i allow that to show.

    i fell that bridge has help me become a better writer which will help me considering i want to write movies. also the experience of being downtown almost everyday for 4 weeks was great. my classmates are fun and exciting to talk to and i wish you all the best of luck
    now we still have 3 1/2 days left so dont fuck up!
